At the November 25th City Council meeting, the Council approved a rate increase for water, sewer, and sanitation services. This increase was necessary due to rising operational costs to the city.
The new rates took effect on January 1, 2026, and apply to usage from January onward. The minimum rate increase, from $36.36 to $37.61, will be reflected on bills printed March 1.
A rate schedule is included with this post that outlines the percentage increase for each service. We remain committed to keeping our utility rates among the lowest in the surrounding communities.
