Due to a main water line being struck, customers in the following area may experience a temporary loss of water service:
North Road from Interstate 57 to Winery Rd
Russell Road from North Road to Avery Road including White Tail Lane and Veldman Lane

The Water Department is actively working to repair the line and restore service as quickly as possible.

Once water service has been restored, this area will be placed under a Boil Water Order until further notice.

Due to a water line being struck, customers in the affected area will be without water during repairs. Once service has been restored, those customers will be under a boil order until further notice.

Some customers in the Pershing area experienced low water pressure but should now have normal water pressure restored. Those customers will not be affected by the water line break and will not be under a boil order.

Tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Rend Lake will be conducting a system test and will temporarily shut off the pumps that supply water to the city. During this time, water will be supplied from our water towers, which may result in changes in water pressure.

We kindly ask all residents to keep water usage to a minimum during these hours.
