Water bills for all West Frankfort water customers went out today 7/31/26.
All water bills are due on the 15th of each month. With the state of the mail, we continue to urge customers to sign up for emailed billing. You do not have to pay through online bill pay, but the email will allow you to see the amount of your water bill before it reaches you through the mail. You can always pay your water bill by visiting us at the Water Department Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm, after hours by using our drop box located outside of City Hall in the second drive-up lane or 24hours through the Online Bill Pay option located at www.westfrankfort-il.com.

Country Club Road will be closed to traffic from Ramsey Heights Road to Interstate 57 beginning at 1:00 p.m. today while the Water Department repairs a water line that was accidentally struck.
Please use caution if traveling in the area and plan to use an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

East Cleveland St will be barricaded off at the intersection of S McLelland and Cleveland due to a broken communication pole and a very low line across the road. Unfortunately this is out of our control until the company makes repairs. Please use an alternate route if you plan on attending fireworks at the park. Thanks
City Hall will be closed on Friday July 3rd 2026 in observance of Independence Day. We will return to work on July 6th with normal business hours.
Thursday, June 25th at 7am the City owned parking lot on the SW corner of N Emma and E Poplar Street (Bowling Alley Parking Lot) will be closed off due to resurfacing and striping. This closure will remain in effect until completion. Thank you for your cooperation.
