The annual Old King Coal Festival returns to downtown West Frankfort May 9th through the 12th. It will feature four days of fun including live music, food, amusement rides, and more.
$1 ticket rides will be on Thursday and Sunday when the Midway opens at 1pm.
The Old King Coal Parade will be held Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. with a coal miners memorial service at the Coal Miners Memorial Park in West Frankfort beginning at 10am that morning.
This year's 2024 Old King Coal is Paul Moak Sr. and the 2024 Princess Flame is Ella Horn.
