The West Frankfort Police Department is an enhanced 911 dispatch center comprised of 13 full time police officers, 4 full time dispatchers, 3 half time dispatchers and 12 auxillary officers. The department also has a School Resource Officer who enhances the quality of our schools.

This Tip Line has been established to provide community members with an avenue to anonymously provide information to the West Frankfort Police. **APPLICATIONS FOR POLICE OFFICER BEING ACCEPTED JULY 10, 2015 THROUGH JULY 31, 2015**
The City of West Frankfort Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will be conducting an open, competitive examination for the position of Full-time Police Officer. A max total of 50 Police Officer Application packets will be handed out on a first come first served basis. At the time you pick up the application packet, you must have a valid driver's license for photo copy to receive the application packet. An application packet will be available at the West Frankfort Police Station beginning Friday, July 10, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. The application deadline is Friday, July 31, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
