Mayor/City Officials
The City of West Frankfort, Illinois is a home rule municipality which operates under a mayor and commissioner form of government, and is comprised of the Mayor and four commissioners, who are elected for four year terms. The Department Heads and staff are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council.
Meetings
The City Council meets formally on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at West Frankfort City Hall.
